How Long Will My Zucchini and Yellow Squash Go?

11/18/2023

Month 8, yes Month 8, not Week 8

November 16, 2023 - This is getting ridiculous.... I planted this zucchini and yellow squash on March 4, 2024. Now 8 months later they are still producing. That is crazy! We are so blessed in Southern California to have a climate that will produce vegetables all year long!

Raised Bed "South8"

This is the 'right finger' of my large raised bed, that I think of as three separate raised beds, south8, north8 and main106. The fingers are 8 feet long and 3.5 feet wide. The main bed is 10 feet long and 6 feet deep.

What is next for South8?

November 16, 2023 - I will be growing broccoli and cauliflower in this location from Novemberish to March 1, 2024. So these sqaush better get done soon.....

Safe and Happy in the Garage Nursery

I am not in that much of a hurry as the broccoli and cauliflower seedlings are growing away in a great environment in my garage under the grow lights. They will be fine for a couple more weeks before I set them out in the cold, sometimes hot, harsh outdoors.
