For my 2023 Tulips I planted Red Impression and Pastel Mix Tulips on November 30, 2022. That was the first year I planted Tulips and I was very happy with the results. I will show the whole season on this post.....

We finally got some rain here in Southern California last week posting a little over an inch in Orange County. I think from Los Angeles to San Diego, there was a good amount of rainfall. It looks like the sprinklers can stay off as there is more precipitation in sign over the next 10 days.

After hitting 80 degrees on Sunday December 17, 2023, we are now looking at about two inches of rain over the next four days. The storm two weeks ago hit the San Diego area, but not the Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Now we are all in for some wet weather.

We are in the range of 71 to 79 as the high for the next 10 days, with rain looking possible for the middle of next week if that weather pattern holds up. Over the last few days we have had dry Santa Ana Winds so even though the temperatures have been lower, the ground is pretty dry.

Cooler Temperatures will continue, though there is no rain in sight. Last week San Diego county got about a half inch of rain, but in Orange County and Los Angeles county there was very little precipitation.
